PiPiAds is the go-to ad spy tool for TikTok. But it starts at about $49 a month, and its Facebook coverage is thinner than dedicated Meta tools. Depending on where you advertise and what you need, one of these alternatives may fit better.

What PiPiAds does well

PiPiAds has a large library of TikTok ads. You can filter by keyword, engagement, ad run time, country and ecommerce platform, then jump to the product and store behind an ad. It also has a TikTok Shop research section.

Where it falls short: Facebook ads were added later and are shallower than in Meta-first tools. Lower plans also cap your daily searches.

AdSpy: if you mostly advertise on Meta

AdSpy has one of the biggest Facebook and Instagram ad databases. You can search by ad text, advertiser, landing page URL, comments and more. It has a single plan at about $149 a month.

Pick it if: most of your ad spend is on Facebook and Instagram. For a head-to-head, see AdSpy vs PiPiAds.

Minea: product research across three platforms

Minea mixes ad spy and product research. It covers Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest ads and adds product and store data on top. There's a free tier with limited credits, and paid plans start at about $49 a month.

Pick it if: you're a dropshipper who wants one tool for finding products across several platforms.

BigSpy: the cheapest way to cover many platforms

BigSpy covers more ad platforms than most tools, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and others. It has a free plan, and paid plans start at about $9 a month.

Pick it if: you're on a tight budget or advertise on less common platforms.

Watch out for: the cheap plans are limited, and the filters are less polished than PiPiAds'.

WinningHunter: start from the product

WinningHunter shows products that are taking off in Facebook and TikTok ads, plus the stores selling them. Note that TikTok ads are only on its higher plans.

Pick it if: you care more about what to sell than about studying ad creative. See WinningHunter vs ShopHunter for how it compares with a store tracker.

TikTok Creative Center: free, straight from TikTok

TikTok's own Creative Center shows top-performing ads, trending hashtags and songs. It has fewer filters and no store data, but it's free.

Pick it if: you're just starting and want to learn what works on TikTok before paying for anything.

Which one should you use?

Getting PiPiAds and AdSpy for less

The Luxury Tools membership includes PiPiAds, AdSpy, WinningHunter, Kalodata and more for $29.95 a month. That's less than PiPiAds' own entry plan. See what it includes for store owners or run your own numbers.
