Atria combines three jobs in one tool: researching competitors' ads, analyzing your own ad performance and generating new creative with AI. That's useful, but it starts at about $129 a month on annual billing. If you only need one of those jobs, a cheaper tool may do it just as well.

What Atria does well

Atria lets you browse and save competitors' ads, then analyze which of your own ads perform best. It also uses AI to generate new ad concepts, scripts and variations. Its main plan includes several seats, so it's built for teams.

Where it falls short: if you're a solo seller who mostly wants ad inspiration, you're paying for analytics and team features you won't use.

Foreplay: the swipe file specialist

Foreplay is built around saving ads you like from Facebook, TikTok and other platforms into organized boards, then turning them into creative briefs. Research plans start at about $49 a month. Analytics needs a higher tier.

Pick it if: your main job is collecting inspiration and briefing designers or creators.

Motion: analytics for your own ads

Motion focuses on your ads, not competitors'. It connects to your ad accounts and shows which creatives, hooks and formats perform best. Pricing starts around $250 a month and rises with ad spend.

Pick it if: you're spending serious money on Meta ads and need to know which creative is working.

Watch out for: it's too expensive for small stores.

GetHookd: the budget option

GetHookd gives you an ad library, brand tracking, swipe files and AI script help at a much lower price, from about $19 a month on annual billing.

Pick it if: you're a solo seller who wants ad inspiration without paying for team features.

Meta Ad Library: free and underrated

Meta's own Ad Library shows every active ad on Facebook and Instagram. You can search by brand or keyword and see how long ads have been running. It has no saving, analytics or AI, but it costs nothing.

Pick it if: you're starting out. Long-running ads in the library are a strong sign of what's working.
